Accounting Manager

MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly within their finance teams. This is not a traditional accounting manager role — you will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring your team in a fast-moving environment.
The OpportunityAs an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs.
What You Will OwnLead end-to-end accounting (Record-to-Report) for US clientsManage and mentor a team of accountantsOversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cyclesReview and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAPAct as primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationshipsDrive process automation and workflow improvementsEnsure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions
What We're Looking For6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertisePrior experience in team management or mentoringERP experience (NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar)CA / CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferredAbility to work with US time zone overlap
