We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant in Bogota with 5+ years of experience. To be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and systems, interpreting and analyzing accounting data. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Calculate Payroll according to local lawsPrepare Payroll taxes declarationsSubmit Monthly tax returns (VAT/CIT)Prepare Corporate Income Tax Year declarationSupport month-end and year-end close processPrepare Local Financial StatementsAttend external audits to ensure complianceEnsure Compliance with Tax Regulations
Qualifications:Accountant degree.Valid Professional Accountant License issued by the Central Board of Accountants (JCC).Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) applicable in Colombia.Experience in preparing and filing tax returns with the Colombian National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN).5+ years of accounting experience.Strong financial analysis skills.Strong communication skillsStrong written and verbal skills in English.Strong organizational and stress management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
