Accounting Manager – Global Strategic Project
Salvador Guerrero is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for an initial six-month contract supporting a Fortune 500 global fintech leader in Draper, Utah. This 160-hours-per-month project is suited to a strategic accounting professional who excels in complex financial reporting, operational efficiency, and high-visibility environments.
Role Overview
Lead core accounting operations and oversee month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities. Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain SOX compliance and internal controls, and improve workflows across cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive accounting experience at a Big 4 firm and/or publicly traded company.
- At least three years of experience managing accounting teams and overseeing close activities.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to independently perform and validate manual calculations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and BlackLine.
- Additional relevant industry experience is a plus.
