Are you a high-caliber accounting professional with a "Big 4" pedigree? We are seeking a strategic Accounting Manager to lead a critical 6-month project for a Fortune 500 Global Fintech Leader. This initial contract role (160 hours/month) is designed for a leader who thrives in high-visibility environments, masters complex financial reporting, and excels in operational efficiency.

As the lead for this project, you will oversee core accounting operations, managing the full month-end, quarterly, and year-end close cycles. You will ensure precision in financial reporting, maintain rigorous SOX compliance, and optimize workflows between cross-functional teams.
🛡️ Must-Haves (Minimum Requirements):
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience specifically within a Big 4 firm and/or a publicly traded company.
- Leadership: 3+ years of proven experience managing accounting teams and overseeing close activities.
- Technical Mastery: Strong command of US GAAP and SOX compliance/Internal Controls.
- Analytical Precision: Advanced Excel skills and the ability to perform and validate manual calculations independently (without total reliance on automated systems).
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).

- CPA License: Highly preferred/strongly desired.
