Publisher clearing House is hiring a full-time Accounting Specialist in Albany, New York. This on-site role supports the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with close processes, and helping improve the organization’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with monthly close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Provide financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
• Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• At least two years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
