Job description
Tasks
- Perform crisis intervention, assessment, counselling and case management
- Work with people affected by mental illness, addictions, poverty, homelessness and other psycho-social factors
- Screen, triage and develop recovery and case plan for clients with addictions using addictions assessment best practices, addictions treatment models, therapeutic methods, and harm reduction strategies
- Monitor and assess withdrawal symptoms related to substance use in consultation with clients health care providers
- Utilize addictions related community resources
- Deliver workshops and lecture material to clients
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure quality care is delivered within the clinic setting
- Actively participate in the develop
