Job description

An international boutique immigration law firm is seeking a sharp, highly organized Administrative Assistant / Clerk for its Stamford, Connecticut office. In this full-time, fully onsite role, you will directly support the managing attorney and help build a career in a professional legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and manage the managing attorney’s calendar.
  • Sort, scan, print, and email office correspondence and documents.
  • Review and prepare documents for mailing and verify receipt of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Record and maintain information in the office CRM and organize files.
  • Conduct research and communicate with staff around the world.
  • Serve as a liaison between the managing attorney and staff.

Qualifications

  • At least a two-year associate degree or paralegal certificate.
  • At least two years of previous professional office experience.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and stay highly organized and motivated.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams is a plus.
  • Law firm experience is a plus.
  • Ukrainian, Spanish, Farsi, or Turkish language skills are a plus.

Work Arrangement

Location: Stamford, Connecticut. This position requires 100% in-office attendance. Remote work is not available.
