AI-Enabled Automation Test Engineer

Tasks

• Develop and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, API, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage and QA productivity.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with development teams.
• Support quality engineering initiatives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Expertise in UI, API, Functional, Regression & End-to-End Testing.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude, or ChatGPT.
• Understanding of AI-driven test generation, self-healing tests, and defect analysis.
• REST API testing using Postman or Playwright API.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
