AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer who will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI within our R&D organization. This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role. You will manage architectures, workflows, and standards. Your goal is to support our engineers by building the "internal AI backbone" designing agentic systems, optimizing pipelines, and ensuring our developers have the most sophisticated AI tooling available to ship high-quality code at speed.Job requirements
Deep familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, CopilotEngineering background to understand code and workflowsAdvanced Python experience (FastAPI, REST/gRPC API design)Hands-on deployment using vLLM, Ollama, or Hugging Face TGIManaging API proxies and standardized routing using LiteLLM or Kong AISecure integration and compliance routing via AWS Bedrock and Azure AI FoundryBuilding RAG architectures using LangChain or LlamaIndexContainerization (Docker), Linux CLI, Git, and CI/CD basicsJob responsibilities
Building and shipping agentic workflows and driving AI adoption across engineering teams with an focus on agentic system design and MCP servers to improve RnD VelocityBuild and assist teams with customized RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and dedicated AI tools tailored to each team's specific needsSet up and maintain local AI agents, developer assistants, and lightweight tools (e.g., Ollama, OpenClaw) to enhance productivityManage routing layers (e.g., LiteLLM) to standardize API calls and securely route all external traffic through AWS Bedrock or Azure AI FoundryTrack token consumption, API latency, and overall AI spend to identify system bottlenecks and ensure cost-effective usageJob benefits
