Aladdin Application Support Engineer

Tasks

• Provide L2/L3 application support for Aladdin front-office trading and order management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Aladdin batch processing, including Green Package and overnight batch cycles.
• Analyze FIX protocol logs to resolve trade execution and broker connectivity issues.
• Manage broker mapping, static data, and reference data configurations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data investigation and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, trading assistants, and BlackRock support teams.
• Support incident management, release testing, regression testing, and production stability.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ Years
• Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin – Front Office / Trading Modules.
• Strong SQL skills and production support experience.
• Practical knowledge of FIX protocol, broker connectivity, and trade execution workflows.
• Understanding of order management, portfolio construction, and the trading lifecycle.
• Experience in L2/L3 application support, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: Fixed Income, Equities, ITIL, Python/Shell scripting, and capital markets or asset management experience.
