Android Developer (Kotlin) – Benito Juárez, CDMX

Shiva Vella is hiring a full-time Android Developer in Benito Juárez, Mexico City (CDMX). This hybrid role is suited to an experienced Kotlin developer who wants to build and improve mobile applications alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Role Overview

You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications, helping deliver reliable mobile experiences for users. You will work with project managers, UI/UX designers, and developers to ship features, solve technical challenges, and meet project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and deliver new features.
• Integrate REST APIs into mobile applications.
• Write unit tests, debug issues, and improve application performance.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and provide ongoing technical support.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Keep up with Android development trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience developing Android applications with Kotlin; three or more years is preferred.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and mobile API integration.
• Knowledge of mobile application performance, security, and usability best practices.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

• Pay: 85000 per month
• Employment: Full-time
• Work model: Hybrid, based in Benito Juárez, CDMX
