ASSISTANT CONTROLLER NOW HIRING! SALARIED POSITION

Cold Lake, Ab
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate month-end and year-end accounting close
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations and annual close
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Support budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Manage GST, source deductions, CRA correspondence, and regulatory reporting
• Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
• Supervise, train, and support Accounting Technicians
• Assist with audits and external accountant requests

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years of supervisory/team leadership experience
• Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
• Experience with budgeting, internal controls, audits, CRA (GST), and IAS
• Experience with Excel and accounting software
