Job description
We are seeking a dedicated BAMS Ayurvedic Doctor for a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In this position, you will provide personalized Ayurvedic care and support patients’ holistic well-being as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients through health history reviews and physical examinations.
- Create individualized Ayurvedic treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
- Provide Ayurvedic therapies, including Panchakarma and herbal medicine.
- Advise patients on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and preventive healthcare rooted in Ayurveda.
- Document patient progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to support integrated care for complex health needs.
- Keep current with Ayurvedic practices and participate in continuing education.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and clinical practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical experience is preferred but not required.
- Training or certification in related Ayurvedic therapies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with patient management and documentation software is a plus.
