Banking & Financial Services Attorney

Tasks

• Federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisory matters
• Financial services regulatory and compliance issues
• Compliance management systems, policies, and risk-management frameworks
• Complex financial services statutes and regulations
• Regulatory due diligence in financial services mergers and acquisitions
• Regulatory matters involving payments, lending, debt collection, and mortgage servicing
• Direct interaction with clients and regulatory agencies
• Client alerts, industry presentations, conferences, and broader practice development

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong financial services regulatory and compliance experience
• Experience with an Am Law 200 or strong regional law firm
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience advising banks and/or non-bank financial institutions
• Licensed to practice law in a United States jurisdiction or eligible for admission
• A stable career history and strong, specific experience in this practice area

Pay

• Salary: $200,000–$220,000 + bonus
