Barn Job Horse Stalls Cleaner

About the role

Confidential is looking for someone to clean horse stalls and help with routine barn care. The work takes everyone 2-3 hours max. Horses stay out as much as possible, and the same pay applies whether there are 10 stalls or zero stalls if the horses stay out. This is a 1099 contract job.

Responsibilities

• Clean 10 stalls, turn horses in and out, feed, fill water containers, and toss hay.
• Lift manure, muck, and water buckets, and walk around. A golf cart can be used to transport items to the compost pile.
• There is no need to help with deliveries, farriers, vets, lessons, clinics, camps, or boarders; offer a friendly hello and carry on with your work.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 and up and have experience.
• Experience distinguishing colic from navicular and knowing that phenylbutazone is bute is preferred.
• Be conscientious, happy, calm, able to stay on task, and prepared to learn independently.
• A minimum of 3 mon is preferred.
