About the role
Christie Jo is looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and hardworking mechanic for a local office in Wilkesboro. The role involves helping with essential automotive repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance.
- Replace brake pads and rotors, and change and rotate tires.
- Replace batteries, starters, alternators, spark plugs, belts, and hoses.
- Repair water pumps and radiators.
- Remove and replace transmissions and engine components.
- Repair suspension and steering systems.
- Perform basic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and general automotive repairs.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Pay is based on experience.
