Job description
Join our team as a Bilingual Administrative and Accounting Assistant based in Bogotá, Colombia. This role offers the opportunity to support business growth and enhance your accounting skills by managing invoices, transactions, and updating accounting databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, transactions, and expenses accurately
- Maintain and update accounting databases
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members in English and Spanish
- Perform accounts payable data entry using accounting software
- Follow up on overdue payments and missing client information via calls and emails
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required
- Arrange schedules for business partners or team members
- Support other back-office activities as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Studies in accounting or related field (in progress or completed) preferred
- Minimum six months proven experience as a bilingual assistant
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Experience working with US companies and US tax knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong initiative and learning ability
- High school diploma minimum
