About the role

Capital i is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) - Level III Alternate Program Manager Ctr (BMET Lead/Scheduler) to manage, schedule, and coordinate biomedical maintenance activities within the program. The role combines biomedical maintenance, inspection, calibration, diagnostics, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment with leadership, project management, and scheduling oversight.

The BMET Lead/Scheduler ensures work follows Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidance, Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, and applicable regulations to maintain equipment and personnel operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure biomedical equipment and maintenance operations comply with Federal, State, and DoD regulatory requirements.
• Serve as Alternate Program Manager, supporting the Program Manager with day-to-day operations, schedules, and contractual performance standards.
• Lead and manage biomedical technicians, assign tasks, monitor work performance, and provide technical and professional mentorship.
• Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance and inspection schedules for efficient workflow and timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee project management activities, including new equipment installation, system upgrades, lifecycle replacement, and equipment relocation.
• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of medical and support equipment.
