Business Development Intern

Tasks

• Research state policies, funding opportunities, regional strategies, and active coastal resilience projects.
• Support market analysis across priority regions
• Identify potential customers, partners, agencies, developers, and other key players in each market.
• Find relevant conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities in exploratory markets.
• Help set up follow-up meetings and introductions with key stakeholders.
• Summarize research and market findings clearly so the team can compare states and identify the strongest opportunities.
• Jump into other business development and strategy projects as needed.

Requirements

• Interest in business development, market research, and strategy
• Strong research, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Ability to take a large amount of information and turn it into clear, useful insights.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects.
• A proactive, resourceful mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and across multiple projects.
