Business Litigation Associate - New York, NY

Prestigious international law firm seeks a Business Litigation savvy Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its expanding New York Business Restructuring + Insolvency team. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial, securities, or bankruptcy litigation within an Am Law firm setting (current or very recent experience preferred) Strong legal and business acumen across a wide range of cases with proven client counseling skills Expertise in taking and defending depositions and arguing cases effectively Prior bankruptcy litigation experience is preferred but not required Stellar academic credentials from a top-tier law school, with Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired Excellent research, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills Admission to the New York Bar Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Representing a diverse clientele including debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, ad hoc committees, secured lenders, and specialist investors Finding innovative solutions for a broad range of participants in distressed markets Managing discovery processes and drafting legal briefs Applying sound legal and business knowledge to a broad spectrum of cases and client counseling Taking and defending depositions and arguing cases in court What we offer: Excellent work environment with a prestigious international law firm Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, approximately $280,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package Location: New York, NY, USA (On-site, remote work not eligible) If you are a motivated Business Litigation Associate looking to advance your career with a leading law firm, apply today.
