BlueWave Corp. is looking for a technically skilled professional to join our manufacturing team at our facility in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.
This is a full-time, on-site position with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience and technical qualifications.
About the Position
This is not simply a cabinet design position.
We are looking for someone who understands how cabinets and furniture are actually manufactured and has the technical ability to translate a design into the information and manufacturing parameters required for production.
The selected candidate will work with our TeoWin and TeoWeb design-to-manufacturing systems, helping manage the process from cabinet configuration and technical development through factory production.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and modify cabinets, furniture, and components within our design-to-manufacturing system.* Define drilling patterns, grooves, machining operations, dimensions, and construction parameters.* Configure materials, colors, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing rules.* Create new cabinet models and modify existing products.* Work with elevations, technical drawings, and product specifications.* Maintain and develop product libraries, catalogs, and manufacturing parameters.* Review and validate technical information before releasing projects to production.* Work with CAD/CAM, CNC, and digital manufacturing processes.* Troubleshoot product configuration and manufacturing issues.* Collaborate directly with our design and factory production teams.* Continuously improve the digital workflow between design and manufacturing.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate should have experience or strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Cabinet Manufacturing | Furniture Manufacturing | Millwork | Architectural Woodworking | CAD/CAM | CNC | Technical Drafting | Furniture Design Software
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands how a cabinet is built — including panels, components, dimensions, drilling, grooves, machining, hardware, materials, assembly methods, and production requirements.
Experience with CAD/CAM, CNC systems, technical drawing, or specialized cabinet/furniture manufacturing software is highly desirable.
TeoWin / TeoWeb Experience
Previous experience with TeoWin or TeoWeb is NOT required.
BlueWave Corp. will provide training on these platforms.
We are more interested in finding someone with a strong foundation in cabinet/furniture manufacturing and technical software who has the ability and willingness to learn our specialized design-to-manufacturing systems.
