Casual Addictions Worker

Tasks

• ensuring the health and safety of our clients
• transporting clients to activities and meetings throughout the community
• ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility
• being a representative of MACSI to help our clients with any needs they may have
• Dynamic supervision and monitoring of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs/conditions of our clients, ensuring concerns are addressed in a timely fashion
• Under guidance and direction from Addictions Counsellors, implement client treatment plan

Requirements

• a clean drivers abstract
• a valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Food Safe handling course
• a current criminal check and vulnerable sector check

Schedule

• Shifts will be assigned on an as-needed, call-in basis for the following times: 08:30am-16:30pm, 16:30pm-00:30am or 00:30am-08:30am
• Permanent

Pay

• $19.63-$21.81 as per SEIU-West CBA
