CDL Class A or B Driver and Excavator Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL Class A or B Driver and Excavator Operator to join our team in Northeast Hillsborough, FL. Key Responsibilities Safely operate trucks and excavators, ensuring compliance with all driving and safety regulations. Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to plan daily activities and routes. Assist in loading and unloading excavators and other heavy machinery as needed. Maintain accurate records of driver's logs, mileage, and cargo details as required. Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of safety standards and practices. Required and preferred qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B license issued by the state of Florida. High School Diploma or GED. Proven experience operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform physical tasks and operate in various weather conditions. Previous experience in the construction or excavation industry is preferred but not required. Our team operates on a flat structure, promoting open communication and collaboration across all levels. You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with other drivers, operators, and project supervisors to achieve project goals efficiently.
