We are looking for a reliable CDL Driver to join our Water & Sewer Division on a full-time, on-site basis. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles to transport water and sewer materials safely to and from various job sites across New York City, following all federal and local safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition, reducing downtime and enhancing safety. Navigate complex urban environments, including tight spaces and congested traffic, demonstrating expert maneuvering skills. Load and unload materials efficiently and safely, maintaining accuracy and preventing damage to cargo. Maintain detailed logs of hours worked, mileage, and materials transported to comply with regulatory standards and company policies. Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules, deliveries, and resolve any transportation issues promptly. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the public. What We're Looking For Required: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is mandatory. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Strong knowledge of New York City’s local roads, traffic patterns, and regulations. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in transportation. Preferred: 1-3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in public works or infrastructure sectors. Familiarity with water and sewer industry operations.
