CDL Driver

Key Responsibilities Operate heavy and oversized vehicles commercial vehicles safely and efficiently according to applicable laws and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage traveled, and cargo reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring freight is properly secured during transportation. Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with company standards. Participate in training and safety programs as required by the company, focusing on continuous improvement and professional development. Required and preferred qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred. Strong knowledge of driving regulations and best practices. Ability to operate various types of heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment as needed. Familiarity with electronic logging devices and transportation management software is a plus. The successful candidate will work closely with our logistics and dispatch teams, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries. Reporting directly to the Transportation Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the logistic flow and enhancing customer relationships.
