Job description
Denver Logistics is hiring a full-time CDL Driver in Denver, Colorado. Join a growing logistics and transportation company handling a diverse range of freight. You’ll help deliver excellent customer service by transporting freight safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty and oversized commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm safety and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate driving-hour, mileage, and cargo logs.
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers about delivery schedules and potential delays or other issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight and ensure cargo is properly secured.
- Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Participate in required safety training and professional development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.
- At least two years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of driving regulations and safe operating practices.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and transportation management software is a plus.
