Synco Staff X is seeking a dedicated Certified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Boston, MA . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs. Conduct thorough assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth. Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans accommodating various learning styles and abilities. Apply effective behavior management techniques to foster a positive classroom climate. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure consistent student support. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed. Communicate regularly and effectively with families and guardians to strengthen home-school partnerships. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field. State certification as a Special Education Teacher. Strong skills in empathy, collaboration, student assessment, and behavior management. Experience with educational software and technology tools. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a special education teaching role preferred. You will report directly to the Special Education Coordinator and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including general educators, therapists, and support staff.
