Special Education Teacher – Philadelphia, PA

Synco Staff X is hiring a compassionate, dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, on-site position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Help students with diverse learning needs thrive academically and socially through individualized instruction and collaborative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student's learning needs.
• Use varied teaching methods and educational tools to engage students and support effective learning.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction and interventions as needed.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and support student participation and behavior management.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders about student progress and support strategies.
• Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and educators to support students' holistic development.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with special education best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, patience, problem-solving, assessment, and behavior management skills.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• One to three years of experience in a special education setting preferred.
• Relevant special education certifications preferred.
