Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and effective behavior management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and specialists, to support students' holistic development. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field. Strong skills in patience, communication, problem-solving, assessment, and behavior management. Preferred: Relevant certifications in special education. Familiarity with special education laws and regulations. 1-3 years of experience in a special education setting preferred. The Special Education Teacher reports directly to the school principal and works closely with a passionate team of educators committed to student success.
