Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Chilean Spanish Sentence Recording contributor. In this role, you will record short Chilean Spanish sentences following provided scripts and pronunciation guidelines, using your own recording device in a quiet environment. You will review and verify your recordings for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring that audio meets project quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include following detailed instructions, labeling or categorizing recordings when required, and submitting work through the DatoviaPlayHouse platform within agreed timelines. You may also provide basic feedback on prompts and report any issues with audio tools or scripts to the project coordinator.
Qualifications
Strong command of Chilean Spanish, including natural accent, clear pronunciation, and fluent speaking ability.Ability to follow detailed linguistic and technical instructions, with attention to audio quality and consistency.Access to a reliable recording setup (quiet space, smartphone or microphone, stable internet connection).Basic familiarity with using online platforms, file upload tools, and audio recording applications.High level of reliability, time management skills, and capacity to work independently in a remote setting.Prior experience in voice recording, transcription, or linguistic data collection is a plus but not required.Comfort working on a freelance or project-based schedule and complying with data privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
