Position SummaryWe are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to support the execution of clinical research studies while providing high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, administering study-related treatments, supporting participant visits, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical assessments, vital signs, and nursing evaluations during participant visits.Administer medications, injections, infusions, and other study-related treatments as required.Perform IV insertion, blood draws, specimen collection, processing, and handling.Monitor participants before, during, and after study procedures and report any safety concerns.Support participant visits throughout all stages of the clinical study.Educate participants on study procedures and provide compassionate patient care.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.Collaborate with research coordinators, investigators, and other healthcare professionals.Assist with additional clinical and research-related responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Puerto Rico.Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience.Experience with IV insertion, medication administration, and phlebotomy.Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills.Knowledge of clinical documentation and electronic medical records.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in clinical research is preferred.Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and clinical research regulations.Experience working with clinical study documentation or research protocols is a plus.
