Clinician Part-Time

Harbor Counseling is looking for a full-time and part-time LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW (or Associate) to join our dynamic, collaborative team.

We provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds and varying socio-economic contexts. Our goal is to provide a warm, welcoming space to navigate life’s challenges with care, compassion, and support.

REQUIREMENTS (Aligned with Harbor Counseling’s vision, mission and values)
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- Able to pass criminal background check
- Active full or associate professional licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Must hold legally/malpractice insurance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Provide biweekly evaluations/approvals and provide identifying information, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and/or family therapy documentation
- Evening/weekend availability is a plus

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Be able to work independently and autonomously
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety/depression, adhd, etc.)
- Proficiency in methods of psychotherapy
- Familiarity with available community resources
- Ability to work well within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
