Job description
About the role
Regina based fabrication shop
Tasks
- Prepare and operate various CNC machines, including lathes, drills, and milling machines, to manufacture parts from metal, plastic, or other materials.
- Write and test programs that control the machines, ensuring they operate correctly and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to set up machines accurately for production tasks.
