This position is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials and personnel, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Safely transport materials and personnel as required by operational needs. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to meet safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate logbooks and submit timely reports in accordance with company policies. Ensure vehicle upkeep by reporting maintenance and repair needs promptly. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding transport schedules and any issues. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while driving. Participate actively in training sessions and safety meetings to improve skills and knowledge. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Valid Code 14 driver’s license is mandatory. Strong communication skills for clear coordination with team members. Previous experience as a Code 14 driver is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Transport Manager and work closely with logistics, operations, maintenance, safety personnel, and site supervisors to ensure seamless transportation processes at Eland Platinum Mine.
