Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, prioritizing passenger and cargo safety at all times to maintain a 100% accident-free record. Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules by analyzing traffic patterns and road conditions to guarantee timely arrivals. Assist with loading and unloading freight, ensuring all goods are securely transported to prevent damage. Maintain accurate logs of daily driving activities, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records for audit and operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to provide real-time updates and promptly resolve any logistical issues. Adhere strictly to company policies, local traffic laws, and safety regulations to uphold our commitment to compliance and safety excellence. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Valid C1 PRDP (Professional Driving Permit) authorized for goods transportation. Proven experience as a professional driver, ideally within logistics or transportation sectors, with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of South African road safety regulations and traffic laws. Physical ability to handle heavy loads and meet the physical demands of the role.
