About the role
Heather Dowling is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to enforce the Village’s codes and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Review and issue permits.
- Inspect construction and existing buildings.
- Investigate violations.
- Maintain records and reports for monthly Board meetings.
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary.
- Provide guidance for property owners.
Requirements
- Completion of Code Enforcement Officer training, online or in-person. At least 2/3 completion is acceptable for appointment.
