Job description
Responsibilities include:
• Enforcing the Village’s codes and local laws
• Review and issue permits
• Inspect construction and existing buildings
• Investigating violations
• Maintain records and reports for monthly Board meetings
• Coordinating with other departments as necessary
• Provide guidance for property owners
Requirements: Completion of Code Enforcement Officer training (online or in-person). A requirement of at least 2/3 completion is acceptable for appointment. Reimbursement compensation is available for training costs.
Compensation: Monthly salary will be based on experience and NYS code training certifications.
