About the role

Careers at Akao Farms is hiring collection staff for FML Agriventures Corp.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer account balances, aging reports, and overdue accounts; record payments and credits accurately and reconcile accounts.
• Contact customers about overdue payments, follow up according to company policies, negotiate payment arrangements when necessary, and maintain professional relationships.
• Record and post customer payments, coordinate payment schedules and concerns with collectors, and coordinate payment applications with revenue accounting.
• Verify deductions, claims, and short payments.
• Investigate billing disputes and customer concerns, coordinate with sales, accounting, and customer service, and support prompt settlement of disputed invoices.
• Prepare collection reports and aging schedules, generate customer statements of accounts, maintain collection records, and update management on collection status and delinquent accounts.

Requirements

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Above-average written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial analysis.
