Commercial Lock Specialist Contract in Colorado Springs, CO

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Lock Specialist for a contract position located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves working in a hands-on environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the security needs of our clients are met through effective lock installation, repair, and maintenance. Your expertise will have a direct impact on enhancing the safety and security of various commercial establishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and repair of a variety of commercial locking systems and hardware.
• Provide key cutting and duplication services as required by clients.
• Evaluate and recommend security systems tailored to client needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols during all installation and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for addressing complex security challenges.

Required and preferred qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Pass a background check.
• Proven experience in lock installation and repair.
• Strong skills in key cutting and duplication.
• Knowledge of security systems and their applications in commercial settings.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.

The role will involve working closely with other Lock Specialists and possibly administrative staff to facilitate service delivery and manage client relationships. You will report to a Team Lead or Operations Manager who will provide guidance and support during your tenure.

Cross-functional collaboration may occur with other teams such as security consultancy and customer support, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client security needs is maintained throughout all service engagements.
