Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Locksmith Expert for a contract position located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality locksmith services, including installation, repair, and maintenance of locks and security systems for commercial properties. This role will greatly impact our clients by ensuring their security needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of locking mechanisms.
- Perform key cutting and duplication services.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Diagnose issues with locks and security systems and propose solutions.
- Manage inventory of locksmith supplies and tools to ensure availability.
- Complete service calls and on-site assessments in a timely manner.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols while working in various environments.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- A valid drivers license.
- The tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
- Your own reliable vehicle.
- Open availability including weekends.
- Proven experience in lock installation and repair.
- Strong key cutting and duplication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Relevant industry-standard certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with locksmithing tools and software.
- Demonstrated years of experience in the locksmithing field are a plus.
This is a 1099 independent contractors position. Pay is per job.
