Hi, I'm seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide essential support and companionship to elderly residents in San Diego, California. Provide companionship through meaningful conversations and engaging activities that uplift the spirits of our residents. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility needs to ensure safety. Maintain a daily record of client activities, observations, and any changes in condition to communicate with family or healthcare providers. Support clients with shopping, errands, and transportation as needed to encourage independence. Foster a positive environment by demonstrating empathy, respect, and understanding towards the clients' unique needs. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role; prior experience with elderly care preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm demeanor. Ability to perform housekeeping and personal care tasks efficiently. Certifications in CPR and first aid are preferred but not required. Experience with relevant software/tools for documentation and scheduling is a plus.
