Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Offer companionship through meaningful conversation and engaging activities.
- Prepare meals, do laundry, and complete light housekeeping to maintain a tidy living space.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist residents with mobility while prioritizing safety.
- Document daily activities, observations, and changes in condition, and communicate relevant updates to families or healthcare providers.
- Support shopping, errands, and transportation as needed to encourage residents' independence.
- Provide respectful, empathetic care tailored to each resident's needs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Caregiving or similar experience; experience supporting older adults is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a warm, patient demeanor.
- Ability to perform personal care and light housekeeping tasks efficiently.
- CPR and first aid certifications are preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with documentation or scheduling software is a plus.
