Configuration & Release Manager

About the role

This is a Release & Configuration Management Lead role-not a Java feature development or coding position.

Tasks

• Lead release planning, environment management, and deployment automation using Jenkins, XL Release (XLR), Spinnaker, or UCD.
• Lead L3/L4 troubleshooting for critical production issues using Splunk and APM monitoring platforms.
• Analyze application logs, JVM stack traces, and runtime performance to diagnose live microservices failures.
• Manage security scanning remediations (Checkmarx, Black Duck) and cryptographic configurations (mTLS, TLS 1.3, JKS/P12, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault).
• Support cloud-native deployment environments (Pivotal Cloud Foundry - PCF, Docker, Kubernetes).

Requirements

• Proven background in Configuration Management, Release Engineering, or DevSecOps Reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Splunk, and enterprise release tools (XLR/Spinnaker/UCD).
• Ability to read and debug Java code stack traces during live incidents.
• Strong command-line Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and SQL knowledge.
• US Citizens amp; Green Card Holders ONLY
• Must be able to work 3 days/week onsite in St. Louis, MO.
