Job description
Build reliable schedules for complex construction projects. Global Recruiters of Buckhead is recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognized, rapidly growing construction management firm in the Northeast for a Construction Project Scheduler in Quincy, Massachusetts.
In this strategic role, you will help deliver healthcare facilities, academic campuses, and luxury residential developments on time and within budget. Reporting to the Vice President of Field Operations, you will use Microsoft Project and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to support project teams from pre-bid through completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive construction project schedules from pre-bid through project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and trade partners.
- Review plans and specifications to identify milestones, constraints, and scheduling challenges.
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks, helping projects stay on track.
- Prepare regular schedule updates and reports for project teams and clients.
- Coordinate with external scheduling consultants as needed.
- Contribute schedules for RFP responses and project proposals.
- Understand construction plans and project requirements to develop practical schedules.
Qualifications
- Experience with construction project scheduling and CPM methods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Ability to analyze construction plans and specifications and communicate schedule information clearly.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills in a fast-paced project environment.
