Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Controller for growing non-automotive service based client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS for the Controller roleBachelor’s degree in Accounting7 - 10+ years of progressive accounting experienceMulti-site / multi-entity experienceManagerial / supervisory experience in an Accounting Management or Controller roleUnderstanding of Job Cost
RESPONSIBILITIES of the ControllerOwn and manage the monthly close in a multiple site / entity environment, ensuring consistent timelines, policies, and chart-of-accounts treatment across locationsServe as the primary accounting point of contact for site leadershipStandardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across sitesReview account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support prepared by site and AR/AP staffDirectly manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teamPrepare and consolidate accurate, timely financial reporting across assigned sites.Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working-capital trends across assigned sitesAnalyze complex reconciliations and build financial models to support ad hoc initiatives and site-level decision-makingOther Duties as assigned
