Job description
Requirements
- Strong Data Engineering & Software Engineering experience
- Hands-on Databricks, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) & Unity Catalog
- Apache Spark & PySpark for large-scale data processing
- AWS: EMR, S3, Glue, Lambda & Redshift
- Daily hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code CLI
- Experience leading complex data engineering initiatives
- Ability to rapidly build POCs and MVPs using AI-assisted development
- Preferred: AI-enabled data pipelines & automated data quality
- Preferred: LLM-based anomaly detection and AI-generated PySpark transformations
- Preferred: Feature Stores, Vector Databases, RAG & Embedding Pipelines
- Preferred: Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, AWS Kinesis & Databricks Auto Loader
- Preferred: SCD Type 2, CDC, Schema Evolution & Idempotent Processing
- Preferred: dbt, Airflow, Databricks Workflows & Delta Live Tables
- Candidates must demonstrate practical Databricks, PySpark, AWS, technical leadership, and daily usage of GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code CLI.
- Experience implementing AI capabilities directly into data pipelines is a major plus.
Pay
- $50/hr C2C (VMS 5%)
