Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and organization.
• Develop and manage both SQL and NoSQL databases for optimal data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand and fulfill data requirements.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning techniques.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database and pipeline issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Document data models, processes, and workflows for clarity and future reference.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to apply best practices.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Additional certifications in the data engineering field are a plus but not mandatory.

This role involves close collaboration within a technical team and cross-departmental interaction to drive data initiatives. Reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, you will contribute significantly to the organization’s data infrastructure and strategy.

Compensation: $110,000 per year.
