Data Engineer

Title: Data Test EngineerLocation: Remote – BrazilDuration: Long-Term ContractRate: DOEKey Responsibilities:Validate data pipelines and analytics end-to-end using SQL and data profiling.Test events across Web, iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, and other OTT platforms.Develop and maintain Java/Spring/Spring Boot automation frameworks.Expand automated regression and data validation coverage.Perform BigQuery validation, troubleshooting, and data quality checks.Support production releases, rollouts, and post-launch monitoring.Collaborate with Data, BI, Architecture, Product, and Engineering teams.Use AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to improve testing and development.Required Skills:5+ years of QA/Test Engineering or Data Quality Engineering experience.3+ years working with data pipelines, warehouses, or analytics validation.Strong SQL and BigQuery experience.Strong understanding of end-to-end data pipelines.Java/Spring/Spring Boot experience.Experience with automated data validation frameworks.Python or Shell scripting.Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS and tools like Airflow/Cloud Composer.Nice to Have: MongoDB Atlas, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tableau, Tealium, Redshift, Claude, Cursor, or other AI-assisted testing tools.
