Praxis Robotics | São Paulo and surrounding region, Brazil; base may evolve with partner sites | Full-time | Frequent domestic travel
Fluent English and Portuguese Required
You must be comfortable leading live calls, discussing operational data, handling difficult conversations, and writing clear updates in English with your US-based manager. Fluent Portuguese is also essential for collaboration with local partners. The interview process includes a live English conversation and a practical operations exercise.
About Praxis Robotics
Praxis Robotics partners with factories and businesses to collect first-person video that enables physical AI systems to understand real-world work environments. We seek a resourceful, hands-on operator to launch pilots, solve operational challenges, and expand reliable data collection across partner sites.
Role Overview
You will report to a US-based Strategic Project Lead / Program Manager, who reports to our Global Head of Operations. This is a broad and evolving role with opportunities for increased ownership as the company grows.
What You Will Do
- Launch and support partner sites from initial pilots through daily operations and expansion.
- Build strong relationships with owners, managers, and supervisors; establish regular check-ins and remove bottlenecks.
- Source local hardware to resolve equipment issues and coordinate with telecom or internet providers to restore data uploads.
- Train supervisors and run pilots or experiments on factory floors.
- Investigate throughput drops and collaborate with factory owners to develop recovery plans.
- Set expectations, push teams to follow through, and manage difficult conversations with confidence and respect.
- Make difficult decisions, work through ambiguity, and find practical solutions while ensuring safety and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Fluent English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills to lead calls and write clear operational updates.
- Experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Ability to travel frequently within Brazil.
- Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and making decisions under pressure.
