Data Mining Intern

About the role

The GAO Group is headquartered in New York City, USA and Toronto, Canada and its member companies are incorporated in both USA & Canada, and its member companies are leading suppliers of advanced electronics and network products for engineers worldwide.

Tasks

• Conduct data mining and extraction from various source to built and maintain high – quality database.
• Clean, validate, and organize large database to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Assist in segmenting audiences based behaviour, demographics and engagement patterns.
• Support the planning and execution of data – driven email campaign.
• Analyze campaign data (open rates, click – through rates, conversions) to identify trends and insights.
• Perform A/B testing using data insights to optimize campaign performance.
• Collaborate with the HR team to align data strategies with business goals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in any field.
• Basic knowledge of data mining, database management or data analysis.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google sheets or basic SQL (preferred).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail – oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Interest in data – driven marketing digital analysis.

• Duration: 3 – 6 Months
