Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer

Tasks

• Develop scalable enterprise applications using Python or Java and microservices architecture
• Build reusable data-processing, feature-engineering, and model-evaluation pipelines
• Apply Generative AI and prompt engineering using Gemini or similar LLMs
• Perform data exploration, analysis, and statistical modeling using SQL
• Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models
• Work with algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost
• Use NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn for analytical and ML workloads
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and usability across structured and semi-structured datasets
• Create visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate actionable insights
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver end-to-end AI and analytics solutions

Requirements

• Strong Python or Java programming skills at a senior software engineering level
• Experience with data science, machine learning, and analytical workloads
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Hands-on experience developing and evaluating predictive ML models
• Knowledge of Random Forest, XGBoost, and ensemble algorithms
• Familiarity with NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted analytics
• Ability to work independently and own solutions from problem definition through delivery and validation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Preferred: Experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets
• Preferred: Exposure to cloud platforms and model deployment frameworks
• Preferred: Experience with data engineering pipelines, big data, distributed computing, or real-time analyti
