Job description
About the role
Technology-Next is looking for a database administrator / DBA engineer to architect, implement, administer, monitor, secure, back up, tune, and troubleshoot database environments across production and non-production systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL, and Oracle database environments.
- Manage database clusters, tune performance, troubleshoot issues, and handle backup and recovery.
- Support database security and collaborate with developers and engineering teams.
- Evaluate new database frameworks and deploy and maintain NoSQL clusters.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, provide on-call support, and automate tasks with Python and Shell scripting.

- Strong hands-on expertise in MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Overall experience: 8+ years; DBA experience: 4+ years.
