Databricks L3 Support Lead

Tasks

• Provide Level 3 production support for Databricks-based data platforms and data pipelines, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Handle complex production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot Databricks workloads, clusters, notebooks, jobs, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark applications.
• Monitor platform health and proactively address performance and reliability concerns.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines.
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams on deployments and release activities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and major incident management.
• Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, SLOs, and operational governance standards.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and cloud-native tools.

Pay

• $110–$130 per hour
