Day Training Staff

Position: Day Training Staff – Developmentally Disabled Services
What You'll Do:
- Support individuals with living, and engage in their own community
- Facilitate community outings and activities
- Follow individualized support and training plans (ISP)
- Maintain clear documentation of services provided
- Promote dignity, respect, and safety at all times
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Level 2 background screening (required)
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Caring, dependable, and patient personality
- Must speak English
Training Required:
All employees must complete
APD Florida required training, including:
- Direct Care Core Competencies (DCC)
- Zero Tolerance
- HIPAA & Participant Rights
- First Aid and CPR Certification
