Decision Science Analyst

Tasks

• Analyze business problems and identify process improvement opportunities
• Gather and translate business requirements into structured analytical frameworks
• Develop solutions using SAS, SQL, and business intelligence tools
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions
• Evaluate alternative solutions and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and define analytical objectives
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to develop scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure

Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Analytics, SAS, and SQL Development
• Hands-on experience in the Credit Card / Banking domain
• Understanding of banking regulations; deposit domain experience is a plus
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders rather than exclusively within IT
• Experience gathering complex business requirements and translating business problems into analytical solutions
• Strong knowledge of data structures, data transformation, and data collection
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI), data visualization, dashboards, and reporting
• Ability to analyze trends, identify patterns, and provide actionable business recommendations
• Experience with financial analysis, process improvement, and evaluating business impact
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams
